EasyCUT
Electrostatic charges in the cutting process can lead to weaker ribbons that are prone to breakage in subsequent stages. EasyCUT neutralizes electrostatic charges and thus helps technicians in obtaining a perfect, non-sticky and wrinkle-free ribbon, which is easy to transfer to the water bath.
eGROSS
The eGROSS system has been meticulously designed to integrate updated tools and standardize procedures within the grossing step. This all-in-one grossing station modernizes this critical phase, ensuring improved safety and ergonomics for operators while adopting a smarter approach to guarantee more accurate diagnosis.
FineFIX Module
The FineFIX Module consists of a heated metal container in which the samples are immersed in Milestone’s FineFIX reagent at 40°C for 60 seconds in order to simultaneously carry out the specimen’s fixation, dehydration and fat extraction. After this step, specimens can be stained according to the user’s standard protocols.
FixSTATION 1RH
The FixSTATION 1RH is an automatic tissue fixation system designed for precise and controlled fixation processes. The system ensures accurate and standardized fixation in a controlled environment, according to specific protocols. It enables documented procedures, ensuring reliability and consistency in tissue processing.
FlashFREEZE
FlashFREEZE combines a non-toxic heat transfer fluid with an efficient -80°C Stirling chiller to standardize the flash-freezing of biospecimens. This preserves molecular integrity and facilitates optimal preparation for subsequent genomics, proteomics and metabolomics analyses.
HistoDream EW
HistoDream EW is a robust and reliable embedding center designed to meet histotechs’ needs. The unit offers configuration flexibility and also allows for visual verification of the specimen at the time of grossing. The operator can review the images and videostaken at the time of grossing, and visually check the specimen size and quantity at embedding to be sure they match.
HistoDream Microtomes
Cutting histological tissue requires advanced tools to ensure high-quality sections, guarantee safe operations for technicians, and provide efficient workflow. Milestone’s rotary microtomes have been built to address all these challenges. SYNERGY
Embedding represents one of the most critical bottlenecks in the histology workflow. This time-consuming procedure is carried out manually, and it is therefore operator dependent. Synergy technology eliminates the need to reopen the cassettes and reorient the tissues. The dedicated rack and consumables, in combination with Milestone tissue processors, allow the automatic embedding of up to 45 cassettes per run, regardless of the size and type of tissue. Synergy completely removes the tedious embedding step by utilizing a single tissue processing and embedding protocol.
T-Tracker

TissueSAFE plus is an innovative and patented vacuum system that allows the preservation of fresh tissues in their natural state, without fixative. Right after excision, specimens are placed into dedicated bags and sealed under vacuum, thus eliminating the need for formalin in the OR. UltraSAFE
UltraSAFE is an innovative instrument for biospecimens which allows OR personnel and Perioperative Nurses to handle specimens in complete safety, with no exposure to formalin fumes. Through the one-way valve lid, UltraSAFE automatically dispenses formalin into specimen buckets utilizing an automatic injection system. The buckets are filled in an enclosed and vented chamber that eliminates operator exposure to formalin fumes. Formalin is dispensed based on specimen weight and specific lab guidelines
V-Tracker
